1994-95 IHL Finals Program

Arguably the pinnacle of hockey played in the Long Beach Arena, the IHL Final series with the hometown Ice Dogs vs the Detroit Vipers was memorable. The Vipers went on to win the Series but not before John Byce’s overtime goal sent the series back to Auburn Hills for game 6. Horns were blaring and fans were celebrating as they left the Arena. The Ice Dogs drew a paltry 3,854 fans per game that season but the playoff crowds picked way up. Game 4 drew 8,475, Game 5 drew 9,459 fans—by far the best atmosphere ever witnessed here.
