Miller High Life 500 1972 Program

This was the race that got me hooked on NASCAR. A.J. Foyt defeated Bobby Allison by 4.2 seconds in front of nearly 69,000 spectators at Ontario Motor Speedway. Bobby Allison and Richard Petty drafted and helped sling-shot past Foyt a few times but Foyts’ Mercury Cyclone wasn’t to be beat that day.
