American workhorse Brian McBride graces the cover as the Columbus Crew battles the Tampa Bay Mutiny. Major League Soccer (MLS) was entering it’s critical 4th season. The novelty was beginning to wear off as thge league began a doldroms period before catching fire in the late oughts. Michael Lewis wrote the league preview with his usual thoroughness. The opening of the original Columbus Crew Stadium was the biggest news and the first Soccer-only Stadium (SOS) in MLS.

Magazine is in very good condition.
