This Super Bowl XIV 1980 Game Program is from the last Super Bowl I ever attended. I had won tickets for a Tower Records Display Contest I had done.

As a life-long Rams fan this was over due, unfortunately, they played the Pittsburgh Steelers who had won 3 recent Super Bowls and were in their Dynasty era. The gutsy Rams led every quarter but the last. Jack Youngblood played most of the game with a broken leg. And the Steelers won a 4th Super Bowl in 5 years.

In the classic NFL Films series, John Facenda stated “The Los Angeles Rams earned a dignity in defeat that they had never attained in victory”. Check out the video link below.
