Kansas City Sports Complex 1967 Brochure
This issue of “SKYLINES—Midwestern Architect” is from April, May 1967. Very interesting to compare to what you know about Arrowhead Stadium and Kaufman Field. The sliding Dome concept wasn't built but the 2 stadiums looked remarkably similar to the concept drawings. Another cool note is the Kansas City A’s logo. The A’s hadn't moved to Oakland yet but the Royals became the home team at the ballpark—winning 2 World Series Titles.
