This Tijuana Galgos 2006 Guide is from the first Mexican Basketball team I ever followed. They played in the cozy 4,100 seat Auditorio Municipal Tijuana, the perfect size for an LNBP team.

SDSU alumni David Abramowitz played here and helped get basketball on the map (although Tijuana had a long history with the Dragones prior to this).

Like many things in Mexico, I was surprised by how cool it was. There actually is a basketball culture in Mexico and many latin surname US college players get to put off their working careers and be heroes continuing their basketball dreams (and make a decent living too).
