San Diego Chargers 1979 Team Photo

The 1979 San Diego Chargers, coached by legendary Don Coryell, compiled a record of 12-4. They finished 1st in the AFC West Division. Unfortunately, this great team played awful in the first (divisional) round of the playoffs and lost—at home—to the Houston Oilers 14-17. The Oilers were missing quarterback Dan Pastorini but still managed to win.
