Los Angeles Blades vs. Buffalo Bisons 1966 Game Program

My Dad and Mom went to this inter-league game where Mom could root on her home town Bisons. Of course, Dad was pulling for the Blades. Actually the National Hockey League – sensing a possible merger between the WHL and the American Hockey League – awarded expansion franchises to Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, St. Louis and San Francisco for the 1967-68 season. The Buffalo Sabres, along with the Vancouver Canucks, entered the NHL in the next round of expansion.
