Featuring MLS 1.1 logos (all have since been re-branded). Recap of 1998 begins with the Chicago Fire’s amazing “Double” winning MLS CUP and the US Open Cup in their expansion year. Bob Bradley was coach of that Fire squad. Note the Pepsi ad featuring Roy Lassiter who’s 27 goals scored in the inaugural season (1996) stood until being tied by Chris Wondolowski (2012), equalled again by Bradley Wright-Phillips (2014), then finally eclipsed by Josef Martinez (2018) and bested the very next year by Carlos Vela (34).
