Over in the American Soccer League (ASL) there’s a feature on the Los Angeles Skyhawks signing of Steve Ralbovsky, the former North American Soccer League (NASL) #1 Draft choice. Legendary coach Ron Newman describes the “Newman System” a new point system (very similar to the NASL System) that encouraged offensive-minded soccer.
