USIU Gulls 1979-80 Hockey Yearbook

During San Diego’s hockey dark ages (between the Hawks folding and the IHL Gulls coming) USIU had a Division 1 NCAA hockey program. Their President was a big hockey fan and this was a pet project of his. They even re-named the school teams the Gulls. The Gulls played at the Mira Mesa House of Ice from 1979 to 1988. The school has since been renamed Alliant International University.
