Back in the 1970’s soccer fans looked to the “NASL Notebook” for all of the NASL news you just couldn’t find in the mainstream media of the day. This issue featured a lot of signings and franchise unrest including drama between the Oakland Stompers and popular GM Dick Berg.Wolfgang Sunholz was traded from the Los Angeles Aztecs to cross town rivals the California Surf.
ASL Action features lots of signings and franchise movement.

Last but not least is a full pictorial editorial on the Argentina 1978 World Cup. These pictures left a lasting impression of South American passion for the game.
